July 14 Virtual Tour Tuesday: Earth-Inside and Out

Earth Inside & Out Explore the history and structure of Earth, then discover the processes that form mountains and volcanoes through a tasty activity.

Here's what you'll need to gather before logging on to the Museum's Facebook page at 10:00am:
  • Plate
  • Four crackers and soft, spreadable food that pairs well (Ex. Graham crackers & cool whip, saltine crackers & peanut or sun butter)
  • Small cup of water



July 21 Virtual Tour Tuesday: Music of Nature

Music of Nature Explore animal communication and calls! We will take a look into how animals communicate with each other in the wild and learn about some different types of communication they use. We'll test how well you can identify animal sounds and calls with a game of trivia and you'll get the chance to make your own duck call.

Here's what you'll need to gather before logging on to the Museum's Facebook page at 10:00am:
  • Scissors
  • Construction Paper
  • Tape
  • Pencils
  • Plastic Straws



July 28 Virtual Tour Tuesday: Henna Culture

Henna Culture Many people associate Henna tattoos with beach vacations, but we are going to dive deeper into the culture and history of Henna with a special guest Sana Saiyed, who will share a first-hand account of the significance within Indian culture. Interact with us as we create our own Henna drawings!

Museum Facilities Remain Closed

Louie at the Museum Pursuant to Central Michigan University guidelines, the Museum facilities are closed. We will open to the public on Monday, August 10, 2020. We look forward to catching up with you! In the meantime, Stay Safe and stay healthy.
