LISTSERV Maestro Toolbar Menu and Icons
The Page Header Bar is located at the top of each LISTSERV Maestro page. It has three parts:
- Title bar: The title bar at the top of the page
displays the current version of LISTSERV Maestro, together with the logo (which also acts as a link to the
LISTSERV Maestro product page on the web).
At the right it shows the user account which is currently logged in plus the "Help" icon to open the
context help for the current page.
- Toolbar: The toolbar
is situated below the header bar and contains all menu options that are available on the current page,
plus the most commonly used options as icon buttons. See below for details.
- Info bar: The info bar is situated below the toolbar and displays additional information about which page you are currently on, and which object is currently selected. On the LISTSERV Maestro Explorer page, this bar also contains Back and Forward icon buttons that allow you to go back/forward to previously visited explorer pages. Additionally, the path to the currently selected node is shown. Each path element allows you to quickly navigate to the corresponding node.
Toolbar Menu and Icons
The Toolbar appears on each LISTSERV Maestro page and displays the currently available menu options.
Click on a menu in the Toolbar to open the corresponding sub menu. Each sub menu may contain a mix of
options and lower-level sub menus. The sub menus are marked with a little arrow icon at the right. Click
on the name of a sub menu to open this sub menu, or click on an option on the menu to trigger the corresponding action.
To close the menu without triggering an action, simply click anywhere on the page outside of the menu itself.
Below the menu toolbar is the icons toolbar. These icons are shortcuts to some of the most commonly used options available on the menus. Click on an icon to trigger the corresponding action. A tooltip with a description of the option is displayed if you hover the mouse pointer over the icon.
Most of the menus in the toolbar are context sensitive. This means that the available options in each menu are automatically updated to reflect the options that are applicable to the currently selected object. So with a different object selected, the menus may contain different options.
