LISTSERV Maestro Explorer Tree
The explorer tree is the main navigation tool in LISTSERV Maestro. The explorer has two main panes: The actual explorer tree in the pane on the left and the main content pane on the right. The tree pane displays the various objects that are stored in and managed by LISTSERV Maestro in a hierarchical fashion, with nested tree nodes. To select a node, simply click it in the tree. It is then displayed with a highlighted color and the corresponding content of this node is displayed in the content pane on the right.
If a node has further nested children, it is marked with a little arrow (triangle) icon on the left. Click this arrow icon (or double-click the node itself) to open/close the node in the tree.
For many of the nodes, the tree also supports moving via drag & drop and copying via drag & drop (if you hold down CTRL [Command-key on Apple]).
Your current position in the explorer tree hierarchy is also shown in the bread crumb bar just above the two tree panes. This bar shows the name of the currently selected tree node highlighted in bold, as well as the names of all parent nodes, up to the root node. You can quickly jump up to a parent node by clicking that node's name in the bread crumb list. You can also click the little arrow (triangle) icons between the bread crumb items: For each icon, a pull down menu allows you to quickly navigate to any of the children of the corresponding parent node to the left of the icon.
The bread crumb bar also contains two green history back/forward arrow (triangle) icons at the very left. With these icons you can quickly navigate backwards and forwards among the tree nodes that you have visited previously.
